Applying for a student card:
- Registration at the local Immigration Office to get your address card (EU citizens receive it by post, while non-EU students receive a stamped paper document at the Immigration Office at 3 Csend Street, Pécs).
- Getting your NEK number from the Documentation Office/Government Office1 Szántó Kovács János Street, PécsMonday: 08:00 – 18:00Tuesday: 08:00 – 15:00Wednesday: 08:00 – 16:00Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00Friday: 08:00 – 15:00.
- Please check and compare your data in Neptun and on the NEK ID document. Your application for the card will only be processed if there are no discrepancies. Each letter and number should be the same.

- Electronic application for your first student card in Neptun:Administration » Student Card request » "Add new" » fill in the boxes » "Save".
- No appointment is required to collect your temporary travel benefit certificate from the Central Registrar’s Office (CRO). Appointments are required for all other administrative matters.
- Check the status of your application in Neptun:Administration » Student card » FIR status: "Successful application".If there is a problem, contact your administrative officer at the RO.
- In about 1–2 months, you can pick up your permanent student ID and the validation sticker for the current active semester at the Central Registrar's Office.IMPORTANT: You must book an appointment in advance to collect your permanent student ID card and validation sticker.

Client Gate (Ügyfélkapu):
The faculty mostly uses electronic means for administration. In order to receive your official documents electronically, you will need to have a Client Gate (Ügyfélkapu) account. You can create a Client Gate (Ügyfélkapu) account at the Documentation Office/Government Office when you apply for your NEK number.
